Blog

It's obvious that we love all things bridal. What's more, we love our brides- past, present and future. There's no greater joy than receiving photos from our brides from their wedding day, beaming with joy and looking stunning in their perfect gown. Our blog is meant to be a tribute to our past brides, a guide full of helpful and fun tips for our present brides, and a source full of sneak-peaks for our future brides. We absolutely love that our brides are willing to take risks and put their trust in us. We are constantly on the hunt for new and different designs and ideas to help our brides stand apart from the rest.

A City-Inspired Wedding

Kelly Power

This wedding hits close to home with us not just because it took place in our beloved city of Toronto, but because the bride is one of our own! Jennifer, a MRS bridal consultant, knew she wanted something classic but different. She came about her Junko Yoshioka "Mulberry" dress not because she knew all along that it was "the one" when she began working here, but because failed attempts elsewhere lead her back to the gowns she always admired in our collection. Having seen them every day, she was unsure if she would have that "moment" when she put it on... but she did. As soon as she stepped out in the dress, her mom said "that's it" and... it certainly was. The intricate detail of the embellished tulle that overlays the gown is the perfect definition of modern glam with a classic silhouette. When the day finally arrived we were so over-joyed to see how stunning the gown looked and how well it complemented Jen's style and vision. Jen wed Matt on Oct 19th 2013 in a city-inspired affair with the ceremony taking place at St. Paul's Basilica and the reception at Arcadian Court. Not even rain could dampen their moods and even lead them to this amazing photo opt. in "The Room" at The Bay. Scroll through to see more fun photos of their day!
