It's obvious that we love all things bridal. What's more, we love our brides- past, present and future. There's no greater joy than receiving photos from our brides from their wedding day, beaming with joy and looking stunning in their perfect gown. Our blog is meant to be a tribute to our past brides, a guide full of helpful and fun tips for our present brides, and a source full of sneak-peaks for our future brides. We absolutely love that our brides are willing to take risks and put their trust in us. We are constantly on the hunt for new and different designs and ideas to help our brides stand apart from the rest.

Jessica & David: Harbour Island Bahamas

Kelly Power

Yes- that's a real photo. We see a lot of destination wedding photos and these are definitely among the best. We must first give a shout out to the amazing Alex Neary of Wide Eyed Photography- wow!! Now, about that gorgeous woman in the photo.... Jessica. It's obvious to see that Jess was not a hard person to dress- the whole blonde bombshell thing kind of made it easy. However, it's sometimes the bride that looks good in EVERYTHING that can sometimes be the toughest. The good thing about Jess was, she had a pretty clear idea of what she wanted- the fact that she was getting married on a beach definitely weighed heavily on fabric and silhouette choice. Jess was immediately drawn to Elizabeth Fillmore's stunning collection of silk and silk crepe gowns. It was not long before "Kara" called out to her. The ease of the dress, the luxurious fabric, and the amazing applique detail on the shoulders and neck just seem to fit the bill.

Another special moment for Jessica, aside from saying "yes to the dress" was the designer, Elizabeth Fillmore, being in-house to personally consult and take her measurements. What a great memory!

Here are Jessica's words: "I think the best thing about it was that it was sexy and elegant at the same time, perfect for the beach, comfortable and light but elegant. Also unique not much else out there like it. Reminded me of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy"

Jess and her now-husband Dave, were married on May 2nd, 2014 in Harbour Island, Bahamas in what clearly was a picture-perfect day.
