It's obvious that we love all things bridal. What's more, we love our brides- past, present and future. There's no greater joy than receiving photos from our brides from their wedding day, beaming with joy and looking stunning in their perfect gown. Our blog is meant to be a tribute to our past brides, a guide full of helpful and fun tips for our present brides, and a source full of sneak-peaks for our future brides. We absolutely love that our brides are willing to take risks and put their trust in us. We are constantly on the hunt for new and different designs and ideas to help our brides stand apart from the rest.

Nicole meets Nicole: An Unexpected Surprise

Kelly Power

Our wedding day was perfect. We had great weather, a fantastic venue, and a wonderful dinner with our closest friends and family. My dress was so comfortable and so much fun to wear; it perfectly suited the day.

We love recounting the way Nicole came to find her gown- the not-so-obvious way! She, like many other brides, came in looking for something different and understated but elegant. She wanted it to suit her small wedding and to compliment the gorgeous venue where they were married. As most brides come to find out, finding the dress isn't always as easy as spotting it on the rack. In fact, in Nicole's case (and many others) she breezed right past the gown. She tried on several gowns with no luck. It was MRS. co-owner Kelly, who eventually pulled a new arrival from Nicole Miller (Caitlin Gown) and suggested Nicole try it. It was at this time when her mother, who was running late, walked into the dressing room to find Nicole standing in the gown and gasped "That's the one!" Nicole agreed; there was something so perfect about this gown. But, like many brides, Nicole wanted to do her due-diligence and decided to shop around at some other boutiques. Admittedly, Nicole tried on what she describes as "too many dresses" and just kept thinking about our Nicole Miller. She had made up her mind.

When Nicole's dress finally came in, our seamstress Larissa, suggested that changing the sleeve from the solid material to a more delicate lace might add some softness to the dress. Nicole was hesitant at first but once she saw the change she absolutely loved how romantic and unique it made the dress. Truly, one of a kind!

Nicole married Tuc Tuncay on May 17th 2014, at the stunning Wheatleigh Hotel in Lenox, MA in front of 17 of their closest friends and family. The venue made it easy to find great photo opportunities but the work of photographer Tricia McCormack really highlighted the beauty of the day, the venue and the couple.
