What can we say about our bride, Stephanie... well, for starters, she is so unbelievably kind and relaxed. Even if she was stressing towards the end, we could never tell! Every time she came into the boutique it was a pleasure for us. Stephanie came to us with "Kate Middleton" in mind and it wasn't long before she found what she was looking for in our Amy Kuschel collection of gowns. Originally, Stephanie fell in love with Amy's "Gardenia" gown but upon hearing that there was a slightly different version of the gown called "Audrey" that had the same traditional bodice as "Gardenia" but with a slightly more modern skirt, she knew she found the perfect combination. Trusting our guidance and with a little bit of blind faith, Stephanie ordered her "Audrey" gown. When it finally came in, Stephanie's face was lit with excitement... it was perfect. She worked closely with our seamstress to ensure the fit was absolutely perfect and proportional to her body. The end result was a stunning gown to match an equally stunning bride.
We could always tell how excited Stephanie was to get married because as each fitting brought us closer and closer to the day, her excitement grew. She always had a smile on her face which made it all worth it for us. Stephanie married Scott on July 4th 2014 at the stunning Berkeley Church in Toronto in what was described to us by Stephanie as a day that was "everything they wanted and more." The day was captured beautifully by Julia Park Photography.
We don't do what we do with brides for the praise or recognition, we simply do it to see a bride filled with excitement and feel lucky that we could contribute to that happiness. Having said that, it is always nice to hear from our brides and in Stephanie's case, she really brought a smile to our face with her thoughtful email.
"I wanted to send you an email to thank you for everything you did to ensure I had the perfect wedding gown! My experience with your salon was fantastic. I couldn't have imagined it going any better. Everyone working there made me feel beautiful and relaxed. Most importantly, I LOVED my dress. Seriously, I think it may have been my favorite part of getting married. Amy Kuschel's 'Audrey' had the cut and design I was looking for and it really was a perfect combination of a traditional look with a very modern touch. It turned out to be my 'Kate Middleton' inspired dream dress so thank you (and your amazing seamstress) for that! The dress fit perfectly and I felt both elegant and sexy in it on my wedding day. Overall the day was perfect - filled with lots of love, happiness, friends and family. It turned out to be everything we wanted and more."
